John Drake is an established author and proofreader based in Dublin, Ireland. He specialises in writing satirical novels and has covered topics as varied as Genghis Khan, a Neanderthal engineer, time travellers from Southend, as well as shining a light on the comedic side of the Black Death of 14th century Europe. All of these titles are available from Three Ravens Publishing here.

He has occasionally put aside his natural inclination for comedy to work on short stories that highlight the difficulties that many people face in the modern world. They include looking at homelessness, dementia and suicide. His work has been included in several anthologies, most notably the Perito Prize in both 2019 and 2020.

He started his literary journey through the modern day miracle of self-publishing, before being picked up by Three Ravens in Georgia, USA. He proofs all of his own work - over a third of a million words and counting - and so knows the high standards that anyone should expect from a proofreader.

You can be sure that he will give the same care and attention to your work as he does to his own.
